About Quickwave

What does Quickwave Technologies do?

Quickwave Technologies is a Nairobi software company. We build and run our own products, ZetuPay for M-Pesa payments, Wave POS, Wave Call Center and SiteScore AI, with Wave Billing and Markora in early access, and we build custom websites, mobile apps, payment integrations and business software for companies in Kenya.

Where is Quickwave based, and do you work outside Nairobi?

We are based in Nairobi, Kenya. Our products are cloud software, and we work with businesses across Kenya and East Africa, mostly remotely with in-person meetings in Nairobi when needed.

Can you add M-Pesa payments to my website or app?

Yes. We integrate M-Pesa through ZetuPay, our own payment gateway, or directly through the Safaricom Daraja API. That covers STK Push checkout, paybill and till payments, payouts to customers, payment callbacks and automatic reconciliation.

Do you only sell your products, or do you also build custom software?

Both. You can use our products as they are, or hire us to build a custom website, app or platform, sometimes on top of our payments, POS or communications products.

How much do Quickwave’s products cost?

Each product publishes its own prices. Wave POS starts at KES 1,500 a month after a 14-day free trial, SiteScore AI has a free plan and Pro at KES 500 a month, Wave Call Center starts at $29 a month per workspace, and ZetuPay charges a flat fee per payment with no percentage fee. Wave Billing and Markora are in early access and do not publish prices yet.

How much does a website or app cost?

It depends on scope: the number of features, integrations such as M-Pesa, and whether you need web, Android and iOS. After a short discovery call we send a written, itemised quote so you know the full cost before work starts.

Do you support software after it launches?

Yes. We host, monitor and maintain the software we build, and offer ongoing support so fixes, updates and new features keep shipping after launch.

Products

Are Quickwave products ready to use today?

ZetuPay, Wave POS, Wave Call Center and SiteScore AI are live and open to businesses today. Wave Billing and Markora are in early access: message us on WhatsApp to get onboarded. Each product page shows its status.

Do Quickwave products accept M-Pesa?

Yes. M-Pesa is built into our products where money changes hands: ZetuPay is our M-Pesa payment gateway, Wave POS records M-Pesa sales at the till, and Wave Billing lets an internet provider’s customers buy WiFi packages with M-Pesa.

Can a Quickwave product be customised for my business?

Yes. ZetuPay, Wave Call Center and SiteScore AI have REST APIs and signed webhooks, Wave POS exports to Excel and CSV, Wave Billing exports to CSV, and our engineering team can build custom features, integrations or a fully custom system on top of them.

How do I get a demo?

M-Pesa and payments

What is M-Pesa STK Push?

STK Push (Lipa na M-Pesa Online) sends a payment prompt straight to a customer’s phone. The customer enters their M-Pesa PIN to approve, and your system receives a callback confirming the payment, so nobody has to type a paybill number or amount.

Do I need a paybill or till number to accept M-Pesa?

Yes, or a bank account. ZetuPay settles payments straight into the paybill, till or bank account you already have, without you registering a Safaricom Daraja app. For a direct Daraja integration you need your own paybill or till.

Can you integrate card payments as well as M-Pesa?

Yes. We integrate M-Pesa and other payment methods such as cards and bank transfers through established payment providers, depending on what your customers use.

Working with us

How long does it take to build a website or app?

A marketing website usually takes a few weeks. Web apps, mobile apps and platforms with payments take longer, depending on scope. You get a timeline with milestones in the written quote.

Who owns the code and the data?

For custom projects, you own the software we build for you and all of your data. We agree this in writing before work starts.

Do you work with startups as well as established companies?

Yes. We work with startups validating a first product, SMEs digitising operations, and larger organisations that need integrations with M-Pesa and existing systems.

What technology do you use?

We choose proven tools for each job: Laravel and PHP, React and Next.js, Node.js, MySQL and MongoDB for the web; Android, iOS and cross-platform frameworks for mobile; and Safaricom Daraja and Africa’s Talking for payments, SMS and voice.

Can you take over or fix an existing system?

Yes. We can audit an existing website or application, fix urgent issues, and then improve or rebuild it in stages without stopping your business.
