Cloud hosting & DevOps
Hosting, automated deployments, scheduled jobs and security hardening that keep your business app running in production.
- Vercel, cPanel or VPS
- GitHub Actions deployments
- Security hardening built in
Overview
What is cloud hosting & DevOps?
Cloud hosting and DevOps is the work of putting a Kenyan business’s apps on servers and keeping them running safely. Quickwave sets up hosting on Vercel, cPanel or a VPS, automated deployments with GitHub Actions, scheduled jobs, HTTPS and security hardening for business apps and SaaS products in Kenya. We are not a hosting company: we run your app on the provider you choose, the same way we run ZetuPay and Wave POS.
Who this is for
- SaaS products that need dependable releases and scheduled jobs
- Businesses whose M-Pesa callbacks and webhooks must stay reachable over HTTPS
- Teams still deploying by hand over FTP
- Companies on cPanel hosting that are not ready for a VPS
- Startups preparing a product for launch or a security review
What you get
What we deliver
Hosting setup
Your app on Vercel, a VPS or ordinary cPanel hosting, with the database, domain, DNS and HTTPS, and Cloudflare in front where it helps. Apps that need their own server can ship as a Docker Compose stack.
CI/CD with GitHub Actions
Every push runs the tests, type checks and a production build. Only the commit that passed is deployed, one deploy at a time, with maintenance mode and database updates handled for you.
Scheduled jobs and crons
Jobs that run on time: M-Pesa reconciliation every minute and hourly subscription renewals in ZetuPay, campaign rounds and SLA checks in Wave Call Center, and a nightly stock check in Wave POS.
Security hardening
Strict Content-Security-Policy and HSTS headers, secure cookies, rate limits, sign-in lockouts and encrypted API keys, plus a pre-launch check for debug mode, HTTPS, cookies and trusted proxies.
Multi-tenant SaaS operations
A sub-domain for every customer, wildcard HTTPS, custom domains verified by DNS record, and every query scoped to one organisation. Wave POS gives each shop its own address at yourshop.wavepos.app.
Health checks and alerts
An admin page showing the running release, waiting database updates and production checks, per-tenant health checks, and uptime and SSL-expiry alerts, so you hear about problems early.
Process
How we work
Review
We look at where your app runs today, how releases happen, what runs on a schedule and what would hurt most if it failed.
Set up
We prepare hosting, DNS, HTTPS and environment settings, and keep secrets in the host or in GitHub, never in the code.
Automate
We add CI checks and automatic deployments with GitHub Actions or Vercel, plus the cron jobs and background tasks your app needs.
Go live and look after it
We run the pre-launch security check, switch on your host’s database and upload backups, watch the first releases closely and stay on for support.

FAQ
Cloud & DevOps: common questions
Do you host our app on your own servers?
No. Quickwave is not a hosting company or data centre. We set up and run your app on the provider you choose, such as Vercel, a VPS or cPanel hosting, ideally in an account your business owns.
How much do cloud hosting and DevOps cost?
It depends on your app and its traffic. The hosting provider bills you for hosting, and we send a written, itemised quote for our setup and support work after a short discovery call.
Can you automate deployments from GitHub?
Yes. GitHub Actions runs the tests, type checks and a production build on every push, then deploys only the commit that passed. For Wave POS this works even on cPanel hosting with FTP only: one zip is uploaded, unpacked and finished by a deploy hook.
Can you set up cron jobs and background tasks?
Yes. We use Vercel Cron or a server cron running Laravel’s scheduler. ZetuPay reconciles M-Pesa payments every minute, and Wave Call Center runs campaign rounds every 5 minutes and SLA checks every 10 minutes.
How do you secure a web app before launch?
We harden it before go-live: HTTPS everywhere, strict security headers, secure cookies, rate limits, sign-in lockouts and encrypted keys. A pre-launch check confirms debug mode is off and production settings are right, and a test fails if a new page forgets its sign-in check.
Do you set up backups and monitoring?
Yes. Before go-live we switch on your host’s backups for the database and uploaded files, and add health checks your team can see in the admin. SiteScore AI’s Agency plan can also check uptime every 15 minutes and warn you when an SSL certificate is within 14 days of expiring.
